Getting off ship in Copenhagen after checking in?

We are booked on the Amsterdam for its 6/12 Baltic cruise. As we'll be leaving the airport fairly early in the day and then leaving port at 5 p.m. or so, is it possible to check in, get settled, have lunch on the ship and then go off the ship and walk around the port? It seems as if we would have ample time to do this.

Depending on the time of when they allow you to board, yes, you are able to get on & off the ship.

Awesome cruise - enjoy it.
