cannes or montecarlo

We're on Royal Caribbean starting Oct 2 and dock in Cannes/Montecarlo on the 3rd. Now which is it, Cannes or Montecarlo? I've e-mailed RC and they're not being specific. They use the same terminology as their brochure- Cannes?Montecarlo

Most likely the ship will be docked at Cannes. Monte Carlo only recently had a deep water pier built and may not be deep enough for the Brilliance. The reason why Cannes is listed first is it is the hub for the more desirable sites of Monte Carlo and Nice. Hopefully this helps. Enjoy whichever you choose!

Thanks maloney! One more question. How far is Montecarlo from Cannes- is the train a good bet and how far is the station from the port at Cannes.

The train station is roughly 3 blocks north east of the pier. It is very easy to find. Trains are very handy but you can also use public buses as well. Monte Carlo is somewhere between 30 to 35 miles from Cannes. Have a great time.
