Well, a month has passed and no replies, I therefore assume that:

1) No-one has been to Vigo before

2) There is nothing to do there

3) There is nothing to not miss

Come on cruise-chatters; someone must have been to Vigo!

A month? Looks like seven months to me.

I live in Santiago. Thereīs no much over there. Itīs a big industrial city, with a small old town. I recommend a excursion to Pontevedra, Portugal, Santiago or the suroundings. However the setting of the city is really splendid, and the Cies Islands a pristine natural park which can be reached in a short boat trip.

Hi, I've been to Vigo twice - most recently in June 2006. Theres a fantastic beach about 10-15 mins taxi ride from the port, or there are plenty of shops in Vigo itself. Hope this is not too late.
