Freedom July 9th Excursion Help :)

My soon to be husband and I will be on the July 9th Carnival Freedom for our Honeymoon! We are wondering which ports are MUST do excursions and which are ones that we will be able to wonder around and do our own thing. Any reviews or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

In many ports you can tour to your own.
My favourite was Naples and the private shore excursion of Amalfi coast and Pompeii .
