We are traveling on the Carnival Liberty and visiting these ports for the first time.
Any suggestions on what we should not miss at each port?
Also any suggestions for private or independent tours would also be helpful.

We have 3 days in Rome before the cruise, then we will visit Dubrovnik, Messina, Venice, Naples, Cannes, and Barcelona.

Has anyone used any of the private tours that were reasonably priced?
