Island of Ischia - Naples

I heard about the Island of Ischia, also known as the "Spa Island" Sounds so wonderful! I was needed some info. We are docking in Naples and I would like to know how to get to the island. If anyone has been to any of the spas. The currency they use. Etc. Etc.!! Thanks for any help! JB

Thank you so much for the links. Have you been there? I'm am just hoping to see something other than the normal tourist attractions. Something much more low key and relaxing. But...I don't want to get somewhere that will be difficult to get back to the ship on time. Thank you for any suggestions! JB

Hi Jjudy,
I had been there with my whole family. And it was fantastic. We had been in Naples for a complete week. And therefore we had enough time to see all the beautys. A private visit to Capri is less expensive than a guided tour. The ships to Capri start about one hundert metres left from the cruise center where your ship will land. If you will have some more informations, please ask.
For the next six days I will not be on the forum. Holidays on a small german isle in the north sea: Norderney.
