Cruising in November

Can anyone give their opinion on cruising Italy/Greece areas in October or November? We have never been before and noticed the prices are much cheaper then. Any reason- or is it just due to the colder weather? Thanks!

I must admit I am just guessing here, but tha rates are probably lower because it is off-season; the summer rush is over.

I would think the weather would be great. August is hot and humid. September is still warm. October should be just about perfect. November could be cool, but still quite pleasant.
