Is there going to be a Halloween party on the ship for kids? I called Celebrity but they don't know. I am trying to pack light. But if there is a party, I need to bring a costume for my daughter.

Actually, some of the best costumes I've seen have been made from things on board. You can use a sheet for a toga, ghost, or angel. A clothes basket (borrowed) with some balloons (preferably white for suds) as a load of laundry. They might even have them make some masks in the children's programs. I'm sure they'd have some poster board that you could use.

I will make an educated guess that the Celebrity Solstice will do very little for Halloween. You are taking a Med cruise during the school year which means there will be very few children on the ship. You are also in port during the daytime on Oct 31 which means there will be a very limited kids program on that day. They might throw together some kind of celebration for the evening of the 31st, but there would be little or no time for kids to make their own costumes.

Is Halloween even a popular thing in Europe? I've not been there in a while and don't recall being ashore on Halloween.
