You are too early!
European railways schedules change at 10.06.2007. Therefore you cannot request any schedules for 07.07.2007 when you are in Rome. I would try it Mid/End of May 2007 again. But current schedule reads as follow: R 12231: Civitavecchia --> Roma Termini Stop Arrive Depart ------------------------------ ------ ------ Civitavecchia 8:02 S.Marinella 8:09 8:10 S.Severa 8:16 8:16 Marina di Cerveteri 8:22 8:23 Cerveteri-Ladispoli 8:27 8:28 Torre in Pietra-Pal. 8:34 8:34 Maccarese-Fregene 8:39 8:39 Aurelia 8:48 8:49 Roma S. Pietro 8:57 8:58 Roma Trastevere 9:02 9:03 Roma Ostiense 9:09 9:10 Roma Tuscolana 9:14 9:15 Roma Termini 9:20 day(s) of operation ------------------- Civitavecchia --> Roma Termini : runs Mo - Sa, not 25., 26. Dec, 1., 6. Jan, 9., 25. Apr, 1. May, 2. Jun Remarks: -------- K2: 2nd class only Civitavecchia --> Roma Termini Regards, HeinBloed |
The dates i put in were the 10.1.07 just to give me an idea.

So the Civitavecchia cruise port isn't really in the centrum of Rome?
Those who wants to see the city needs to use extra transport? |
Junior Cruiser are you serious http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...s/icon_eek.gifor just pulling my leg?????
Belfast - don't buy the train ticket online since when we got on the bus in the port that took one to the port exit the bus operator made us an offer €20.- per Person and they took us exactly where you are wanting to go. The Busstop in directly in front of the churchand the steps taking you to the walls of the Vatican City are also directly infront of you. all you have to do is go up the stair turn left and follow the big wall. The first site of interest you will find are the Museum of the Vatican (I can't remember the name this morning) If you don't want to go there just keep walking around the wall and you will get to St Peters Square and the rest is lot of walking but a piece of cake with a decent city map. |

RCCLs webpage just described Civitavecchia as being really close to Rome. I guess the Rome Excursions is a good way here, to see it all http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo.../icon_wink.gif |
