Hi! Not familiar with this hotel but we stayed at the Hotel Atrium Apsis....booked precruise thru Celebrity last October....great location, nice room with nice bath would use again but would book on my own. Can get better rates online. Hope this helps. Gypsylady

have not been to this hotel but it has had a lot of excellent reviews....some travellers have said that some rooms may be on the small side and although a very good hotel, in a great position, it may be a bit pricey for some.I'm sure that there will be someone on this forum who has stayed here as it is a well known hotel.
regards jack

I have stayed in Hotel Continental on Las Ramblas. It is a fun funky kind of place - clean and very convenient - recommended by Rick Steves - I will be staying there again in Sept for 110 euros/night.

We will also be staying at the Hotel Continental for the 4th time in November. The location is great - expecially if you want to take public transportation to or from the airport. The balcony rooms are 110 euros, like avp said, and much nicer than the inside rooms - they are worth the few extra euros.

If you go to tripadvisor.com, you can read reviews on this hotel. . . .They are all good ones, and if I remember correctly, HOTEL 1898 ranks #1 of all Barcelona hotels (at least on their site).

Try Hotel Jazz. . .It gets good reviews, too. . .owned by the same company.
