We just returned from our European Tapestry cruise on Holland America. It was GREAT! I have to talk about one tour that we took outside of the ship tours. We transferred into Rome via cruise ship transfer and I had arranged a private introductory tour of the Louvre through Paris Muse. I can't tell you how wonderful this tour was. Our tour guide was absolutely the best. She showed us the major works of art such as Venus de Milo, Winged Victory and of course the Mona Lisa as well as history of the Louvre itself. Although the entire cruise was fabulous my husband and I agree that this was the highlight of the 15 days. If anyone would like more info I would be glad to provide it!
