Mediterranean cruise info please

My partner and I are cruising to the mediterranean Oct. 22,2007 for 11 nights. Our ports are Barcelona, Marsailles, Nice, Florence, Rome, Corsica, Tangiers, Casablanca, Valencia then back to Barcelona. Any tips about excursions (booked thru the cruiseline versus "on our own"? We are cruising on Celebrity's Century. Also, if anyone will be there at the same time, please respond. Thanks.

Just saw your post-- am leaving for a similar itenerary on Celebrity in 2 weeks. What did you do that you liked in Valencia?

Let me first say what a wonderful trip this was! In Valencia it was All Saints Day on the day we were there so everything was closed except the Oceanographic Museum which we had already planned on seeing. Then we ate payella at an outdoor cafe right on the beach. It was total bliss!
