Monte Carlo

Am cruising on Carnival Liberty Aug. 23rd. One
shore excursion is to Cannes and Monte Carlo.
Has anyone taken this ship tour. Is it worth
the expense and do you have an opportunity to
actually play at the Casino. What is the dress
code required for women. Can slacks and walking
shoes be worn. Which shore excursions offered by Liberty were the most enjoyable. Thanks for

Hi Daphne,

the dress- code for the Casino at Monte Carlo/Monaco is strictly formal, an elegant dress or at least a pantsuit is absolutely necessary. The separate slot- machines- section is a little more casual though.

The fastest way from Cannes to Monaco is due to the traffic by train. They run frequently, and the journey is very scenic.
