I've appears easy to get to the hydrofoil dock from the cruise ship dock in Naples...do the hydrofoils accept credit cards?????? We may want to go to Sorrento or Capri from Naples
I believe that they do, but I would load up and pay in euro simply because the ticket windows are crowded and active. It will cut down on the transaction time and frustration.
Hi, mypl8s,
they accept cards, but Tom is right with his tip. Take some Euros and you are on the safe and faster side. The hydrofoils start just on the left side of your Cruise Port. Only a few hundred meters.
Have a nice trip an some beautuful hours on the isle of Capri.

thank you sooooooo much...this info is really helpful! It relieves a little travel anxiety also, because rather than just enjoying...I'm constantly worried about details and information.One last question...will be be too rushed if we do Capri and Sorrento, or should we stick with just one?
Hi mypl8s,
just one, please.
I would prefere Capri. It takes you five hours at least. You can take the train to Sorrento (about one hour), from there the boat to Capri, and from Capri the hydrofoil back to Naples, But there is no guarantee you will catch your ship after....

@mypl8s
I suggest to take the rest of your time in Naples (Napoli) to visit the ancient town. Take a taxi. It is not very expensive. And most of the drivers speak a little bit english.

If you want to take a look on this picture: http://www.porto.napoli.it/en/
you will see the Naples Cruise Center. On the right side (not on the picture) the Hydrofoils will start to Capri.
