Am cruising 2 weeks on RC Jewel of the Seas in Sept. Don't want to go to Brussels - I've been there and feel the bus ride from Zeebrugges is too long & tiring for my 80-year-old Mom. She can walk short distances, but typically my 76-year-old Dad pushes her in a travel wheelchair (yes, I trade off with him!).
Thought of taxi from Zeebrugges to Bruges, but am wondering if viable option is taxi from ship to train, then non-stop train to Bruges. Certainly is much cheaper (which Mom likes). After we arrive in Bruges we will self-tour by strolling around on foot/wheelchair.
Seems like a great city to do this in.
Appreciate any thoughts.
