When to go??

We are planning a cruise to the Mediterranean (Italy, Greece, Turkey) but want to avoid the summer rush. Tyring to decide on a late spring or early fall cruise. Any suggestions??

That's a tough call! Both are nice. But if pushed to make a decision I would go in late Spring; the weather is slightly more agreeable and it is the start of the cruise season; the ships and the crews may be a little fresher.

We went to the Med last fall and the weather was great. Average temperature mid 70's, some days upper 70's and only one day with partial rain. The summer crowds were gone and sightseeing was much more enjoyable. The only island we saw which was closing down all its patios was in Mykonons. There are also some amazing deals out there for fall cruises. Deeper discounts than in the spring.

We went early May - it was wonderful, all flowers were in bloom and it was just beginning to get hot. We enjoyed it!
