30th anniversary...Leaving Oct.1/11

Hi we are sailing Oct. 1/11 from Venice, Italy for one week...It is our 30th Anniversary Oct. 2 and hubby's birthday Oct. 3.......Does anyone know what would be the most exciting tour to do in Venice? Also does anyone know if you can walk from the dock in Dubrovnik, Croatia to the old city of Dubrovnik? thanks...amm

I'd go with a walking tour and probably a gondola ride just to say I'd done it. I'd also be spending some time exploring the many alleyways, and yes, I'd get some risotto.
