We are sailing on Royal Caribbean Splendour of the Seas on June 27, 2009 out of Venice. First stop is Split, Croatia. We would like to know what can be easily reached without a tour and worth the trip. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Split is a very easy DIY town. You will most likely tender in this port. From where to step on to land you are an easy walk (only a few hundred feet) from the center of town. Go to Italay/Croatia and click on 'Split' and read our review.
