trip suggestions for navigator of the seas
 

my husband and i are leaving on the above ship on 27.5.12. On my first cruise (this is my 3rd) i booked several trips through the ship but found out that had i been organised i could have done some things off my own bat, such as pompei.

i am calling off at messina, kusadasi,crete. does anyone have any suggestions for sight seeing trips that i can do on my own.

the reason i would rather do things on our own is that i have 2 very dodgy knees and prefer to be able to go at my own speed and to be able to sit for a rest etc when it suits me rather than have to go at other people's schedules.

any suggestions greatfully received.
