Default Dubrovnik suggestions
I am contemplating doing this on my own or engaging in another tour. Does anyone know if I can pick up a taxi and explore this way or better on a tour? They offer a city tour by boat or perhaps ride the cable car...any suggestions and thanks all who take their time to give others needed info....

Default First, contact Dubrovnik tourist office for info
by just googling.I would do this port on own, very easy to walk, climb city walls, take cable car, etc. Its very compact and we spent a few days there prior to cruise to try and see it all, never did of course. Its very crowded when ships in port but no need to take taxi,ex.to city from docks if 45 min(or so)on busy street not for you. Many lovely cafes, shops, and do go on side streets too.Have fun, great city.
