why does plan never works out?!

Our families friends doesn't want to join us on excursion in Rome. And the quote is for 6 people.

I understand we could tour the rest of Rome via transit (bus/train/metro). But the line up to Vatican could kill our times. Is there anyone else interested please? Read above and post. I will post a roll call as well.
