i´ve been wondering if anyone could help me out... im going trough europe in the Voyager of the Seas, around Italy, Civitavecchia, Capri, Napoles and More
any advice for transportation?
like trains, traveling...?
Hmmm. That is what we would call a very broad question. If you have specific questions on any of your ports there are some here that can give you lots of help. I would suggest you take a look at all the cruise ship excursions for your ports (they are on their web site and in a mailing you should receive from RCI) and also spend a little time in a large bookstore browsing through some travel books (we love to sip coffee in Borders and do some reading). Once you have an idea of what you want to do in each port we can help you decide if you should take a cruise ship excursion, hire a private guide, or do it on your own. You also need to pay careful attention to the cost of excursions versus your budget as it is possible to spend more on excursions than the cost of the cruise.
Welcome to cruise-chat, and congratulations on your upcoming cruise.
We have some excellent threads in our Europe Port section about some of the very topics you seek, particularly this one about train travel in Italy, and this one about Naples in particular.
I'd also suggest using the "Find" feature above to search for the ports you will be visitng. If you have more specific questions after that, please let us know and we'll do our best to answer.
