Snorkeling/diving in Med

My husband and I are taking our first cruise next year - 12 day Western Med on Celebrity - does anyone know how we might arrange a snorkeling or diving trip? Is this even a good idea? I'm thinking that Villefranche is the logical port.

Great question. I did a google search using Villefranche snorkeling and came up with several operators and ideas. I didn't snorkel there, but the water was clean and clear. I suspect it would be great snorkeling. Hope that helps.
