How are the HAL excursions in the Baltic? I can't afford the Graduate Classes offered by Smithsonian, but want something more than a middle school social studies class

We took all ship excursions while on Veendam in '07 and loved all of them. All our tour guides were excellent: very knowledgable and informative but not precocious or chatty.
