Depends on the port you are at
If Langelinie I think the #26 bus will get you there
The HOHO bus was at the dock when we were there
so that might be another option.
Taxi is probably the easiest

Copenhagen is well known for an excellent shuttle service from the port(s) to city centre. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

We were there in 2003 never noticed one then.

Since 2003 the most significant change is that the cruise ferry from Copenhagen to Oslo has chenged terminal from downtown to the freeport. With this change, the shuttle service (bus 26) has been improved.
