When doing a Rome on your own from NCL, the bus drops you off at Colle Oppio - apparently near the Colosseum. Does anyone know how far it is to St Peter's/The Vatican? Also - means of transportation from one to the other - would taxi be the best way for 4 people? Just want to spend the time in St Peters as I don't feel we have enough time for much else. Any suggestions, anyone?
