Does anyone know if there are canal boat tours available in Livorno Italy?

That is a great question. I am not sure that there are. I walked most of the canals (well actually by them, as I can't walk on water, VBG) and didn't see any tour boats or activity. I Googled "Livorno Italy Canal Tours" and came up empty, which further suggests that there are not any. Between Livorno's cool harbor and canals, I am surprised that someone hasn't put something together.

I also think its a great question. We have also walked along some of the canals and never saw any activity. My suspicion is that there has never been any canal boats since Livorno is really not a major tourist destination. Yes, they do get a lot of cruise ships, but most cruisers quickly leave the area on tours or the train. For those that do land tours or simply drive around Italy (me), Livorno is one of those places you either avoid or pass-through.
