Excursions from Vigo, Spain

My wife and I will be stopping in Vigo, Spain in Sept 2008 on the Splendor. We are considering the following excursions and would appreciate comments from anyone who may have taken any of them.
a) Combarro & Vigo
b) Santiago de Compostella
c)The Border Country

We will be there on a Sunday and understand that many of the shops may be closed. We are not much into shopping so that is not a problem. We enjoy walking.

We'll be in Vigo in May and I'll be interested to hear about some of the excursions as well. I have been to Santiago de Compostella from a stop in La Coruna (where we are also stopping). The main attraction there is the cathedral and it is very interesting. You will have to do some walking on that tour since the buses are not allowed into the main square (at least they weren't 10 years ago and I suspect their pollution laws are even stricter now). It's not far.
We haven't decided what to do on these two stops yet.
