We are leaving for a family cruise at the end of the month. We have already arranged for a cake and room decoration for one couple who is celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. However, this whole cruise is a celebration of my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. What can we do special while on board? Is it possible to invite the captain to eat with us, or for my parents to be invited to the captain's table? What other suggestions do you have?
I'd check with the Cruise Director once you're on board. He/she may be able to arrange something special. On some Princess ships they have a "Chef's Table" dinner. It's pricey, but I am going to try it sometime. I'm sure the CD can do something for them. It would be really neat to see if they could do a vow renewal, but that would have to be done before leaving. Not sure if you have enough time, now, but you could call the cruise line. Congratulations to all and bon voyage! http://bestsmileys.com/waving/7.gif http://bestsmileys.com/happy/7.gif http://bestsmileys.com/waving/7.gif
