How does it work with the children and money.... I do not have my children with charging abilities but I have allotted money for them to spend in the arcade... is the arcade cashless as well? Can I set a specific amount on their sign and sail cards for them to spend?
Thanks!!!

The "change machines" in the arcade will let you apply token credits onto their cards. You will have to go to the arcade and use your card to add money to theirs (I think this is how it worked)

I have never had any luck getting a limit applied to their cards. Its either open for charges or not. (Unless they are in their own cabin then you could back their cards with cash)

I'm pretty sure (not certain) the arcade has a cash/coin machine that will exchange cash for tokens. Or, they can get tokens with their Sail & Sign card. The games only accept the tokens.

You can set a limit on their cards for the length of the cruise by setting up their individual folios with a cash deposit. Jim mentioned this as well. When they run out of money it will stop working. If you want to give them more you can by adding more cash to the account at the Info desk.

Jim, The Pursers can set up cash folios/accounts even if they are in the same cabin as far as I know.

Thanks for that info Dwayne. I have always tried to do this at check in before the cruise and the agent always looks at me like I grew horns! I'll try this on our coming up cruise.

Now that you say it, I do remember the cash to tokens machines on the Carnival Spirit... so that may be easiest and then they can just carry their used tokens back to the cabin. Our kids at not big video gamers so I can't say for sure that its the same on all the ships, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.
