You got an honest answer to a rather vague question plus a little chuckle to boot.

If you are more specific, I am sure that those who know will help. Are you speaking of airfare, bus, taxi?

When you ask a generalized, vague, loaded question, you're going to get some honest, humerous answers in return.

With gas prices soaring, and expected to possibly reach $5-$6 a gallon by next year, it's highly doubtful that you will be finding any "cheap" travel anytime soon.

F-mattox was being realistic. Right about now your "cheapest" options are walk, run, hitch, bicycle, or swim.

Unless gas is $1.20 a gallon where you live. Then, by all means, please let us in on your location.

Your cheapest way to get from Anchorage to Vancouver or Seattle is to fly. It is 1,330 air miles from Anchorage to Vancouver, and 1,448 air miles from Anchorage to Seattle. Your not going to be taking any taxi, biking, or walking!!
