OK, could be polite, but getting down to "tin-tacks", what is the average price of alcoholic drinks on cruise lines (eg. beer and wine). Potentially looking at Millenium Mediterranean cruise and working out general expenditure.

Any help appreciated.

Compared to what you would pay at a bar or restaurant, about the same.

If you buy the souvenir glass you get to refill it the rest of the cruise at a slight discount.

I honestly think drinks are market priced on cruise ships. I don't see a huge price gouging going on. If I order a cosmo in New York it's basically the same on the ship. Keeping in mind, we're in New York, where everything is expensive. Maybe I'm just used to it. It is worth it to order a bottle of wine with your dinner and the wine steward will hold it for you until your next dinner. We do that and it seems to work out great for my husband and I.

You will find the prices to be about the same as in most restaurants. $3.50 to $5.00 for a beer and $5 to 10 for a cocktail. They do have a daily drink that are usually on the order of a rum punch for a few pennies off. Not really a big enough savings to have if it is not what you want.
