Formal night

What do most people wear on formal night? We are going on the Pride in April 07.

A suit and tie for men and a nice dress for women, come on.

Hi mermaid22,

You can still see lots of tuxes and gowns, but the majority of men wear suits. Cocktail dresses are quite popular for women but really any sort of "nice" outfit will suffice.

which "Pride" ship will you be going on? There are at least half-a-dozen ships which have the word "Pride" in their name.

Make sure you pack for two formal nights.
Dress as you would to see a broadway play and you should be fine.

Well I know you have been toA formal night on a cruise...so I suggest when you go to a Broadway play dress in the like.

Basically you dress as formally as your pocketbook and sensibilities allow.

You can wear anything from a full length dressy cocktail dress "down" to black pants with a dressy (beaded or trimmed type) top. It depends on what you feel comfortable with.
