My sister has used them a couple times and was satisfied. I always recommend using a credit card to pay for cruises since it gives you another layer of protection should something happen, such as bankruptcy, theft of funds, etc.
Have never booked with them, but have been a member for search purposes for many years. They have the best search for bargains system I have found. They are a stable company to my knowledge.
You can get the discounts through any travel agent. My personal opinoin is to use a "local" cruise experinced travel agent. You "will" get the same rate if not better, but you will get that personal service also and thats a big part of crusing is the service. My last few cruises I actually booked on the ship and got a great onboard credit. But since you will not be on a ship to arrange your next cruise I do recommend the local agent also the local guy since you live in the Australia are he/she will know all of the leaving and re-entering procedures for your country and will be more Familiar with your airline traffic.
Sampep.
I totally agree with ceemonster. See my earlier thread.
I live in New Zealand and found that I could get a better deal through my local (Holiday Shoppe) travel agent than through VacationsToGo and of course got more personal service.
Cheers
