We are looking at a cruise either Sep 16 or Sep 30 to the Eastern Caribbean. I am very nervous cruising this time of year. Anyone give advice how the weather is? I would hate to have rain from a tropical storm/hurricane. I know the ships can avoid storms............

Mandi,
Weather is always unpredictable. You very well could have rain from a storm/hurricane in the area. On the other hand it could be perfectly sunny when you go. The ships Captain will alter the intinerary to avoid a hurricane.

Mandi, I took a cruise on that very same day last sept and let me tell you for the most part it was absolutly beautiful but you never know if it is going to rain or if you catch a storm during that time of year. You should be fine though.

September is the peak of the hurricane season but that doesn't mean that you will have one. Unless there is a big storm system near by typical summer showers in the tropics do not last long.

At the worst you may go to a different port than you were booked for.
