Pls help!! wedding cruise, or cruise in general -RCI or Princess?

Has anyone married on Princess Diamond/ RCI-radiance of the seas?? Any comment? We are planning a wedding but can't decide which cruiseline to go with!! Which ship is better? Radiance looks really nice..but the Princess wedding at sea sounds like a wonderful idea.. please help!!

Both are beautiful ships. Princess is the only major cruise line that can marry you at sea, however; the others must be arranged while in port.

Have you consulted a cruise-oriented travel agent? For a wedding, I strongly advise you do so - that's an event you don't want to mess up, and they can help you sort through all the options and details.

We have never been on a Princess cruise. However, many Princess ships have wedding cams. Your wedding can by viewed by friends and family in their homes (or offices!). This may be a consideration for you. Of course, you would want to get more details from Princess about the wedding cams before making a decision.

We are going on the Radiance in Nov. It does look like a beautiful ship!

I don't know if this will help, but we were on the Diamond 2 years ago, when she was only a few months old. What a gorgeous ship! I'm an architect, so I get really snoopy and stuck my head in the Wedding Chapel. It appears to be able to hold about 50 people, and is really attractive. I also saw the ship florist making arrangements for a special event. Don't know if it was for a wedding, but they were stunning, and not common in any way.
As previously mentioned, the Princess has the bridge and wedding cams, and out of curiosity, I've checked out the cams on most of their ships at one time or another (I said I was nosey )and you might be interested in that. They usually leave up a still of the latest wedding, because you don't often catch one going on. In the very least, you will be able to see what the Chapel on the Diamond looks like. Good luck.
