Aren't there some Outlet Malls just outside the Dallas Metro area? They are always great for brand-named bargains (closeouts, overruns, etc.)

Good Evening from Dallas

Go to www.rossstores.com You will find a store locator and can pull up all the stores in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Print it out. Ask anyone at the car rental or hotel and they can help you find the closest ones. They are a clearance store for other stores so the bargains are plentiful. Now they will start putting all their formals for Christmas out. Most will be velvets and beaded for the Holidays. I bought several last year for $29.99 each. They carry plenty in plus sizes too. Run do not walk as these will sell out fast. Happy shopping and have a great cruise. Don't forget to let us know what bargains you find.

Also try Coldwater Creek, online or in the store. Also JCPenney has some nice selections. Good luck.

Hi! You asked about renting, too. We rent my husband's tuxes at www.cruisewearformal.com. We do this to avoid packing suit, tie, dress shirts and dress shoes. At that website, they also rent ladies clothes. I just checked them out and it is probably cheaper to just purchase a dress, but renting is an option if you prefer.

catweazlecat - You could try www.JessicaLondon.com
Also, Google Jessica London Coupon Codes for percentage off of already on sale items.
Hope this helps

Hope you find what you are looking for in Dallas. I think the folks on here have given you some great leads.

My oldest son took 4 years of German in high school and loved it. He and the lanuage really clicked. He was fortunately to have a PhD in German as his high school instructor all 4 years.
