One shouldnt criter size us grammar when da post stuff with apostletrophies that aint write.

I guess it's all part of the dumbing-down of the English language and we are supposed to accept it. Just the same, read-ability is important if you want to convey meaningful thought.

I don't agree with the imposed standard and will continue to re-read and edit my posts. It is the same kindness as not yelling into your walkie-talkie.

I know I will still make spelling and grammatical errors, but for as little effort as it takes to copy and paste your post into MS Word it hardly seems like asking too much.

I notice some on cruise chat find it necessary to critize or mock, through the use of sarcasm, other's spelling, grammar and punctuations".... "It is simply not a productive expenditure of energies."

I see this post floated to the surface again. How can you have a laugh at someone else's expense without sarcasm? What is the world coming to? As for the expenditure of energy, I need to burn some calories.

....we all make mistakes of one sort or another, and sometimes a little gentle leg-pulling stops one from feeling embarassed about a mistake.
