Jeff;
The cruise lines are finding that they cannot really offer poker tournaments onboard due to lack of space for the games and not enough revenue when compared to their other house games. Poker tournaments are played player against player and the house rake is not sufficiant to warrent major investment. That is why companies like DOCs "SUITED PAIRS" Poker tours were created.
There will be a poker cruise in September on Carnival Valor. The idea of this cruise is to provide a 'real' tournament environment for the 'casual' player. The cruise will offer 7 individual tournaments for big money payouts and a final 'CHAMPIONs' game with a seat offered for the 2007 WPT super satellite event at Bellagio hotel in Vegas. So..if you get knocked out of one tournament, you still have another tournament the next day!
Price to play is INCLUDED in the price of the cabin.
I refer you to Cruise Depot (800-326-9050) or
www.docspokercruises.com If I am allowed to suggest this.
Good luck!

I would really like to have a luxury cruise at a discount price but dont know where to go. Any help would be appreciated.
