Changing User name in Profile?

Not sure if this is the place to do it, but how do you change your user name in your profile? I don't really want my full name in there. Thank you! (You might want to reconsider this feature with all the identity theft stuff that is out now) Thanks!

first of all, welcome to Cruise-Chat.com!

There are two different names: The "user name" and the "display name". The latter one is the one shown next to your postings, while the "user name" is the one used to log into Cruise-Chat.com.

You can change your "user name" at any time. However, only administrators can change the "disply name". The reason for this is because otherwise, it would be much more difficult to assign possible abusive behavior to a particular user. Plus, changing "display names" can cause confusion among the other users. It is, however, always possible to ask an administrator to have your "display name" changed. We will, however, not change our policy so that anybody can change his / her "display name" him- or herself at any time, for security reasons.

If you would like to have your "display name" changed, please send me a PM with the name you would like to use in the future or simply reply to this post.
