Chef Ken, sorry I'm a little late with this--you caught me napping--but congratulations on post #500, Master Cruiser!
It's a pleasure chatting with you. You've brightened many days.
I second the sentiments ponied up by f-mattox. There have been a number of times where your retorts/observations have made me giggle (not in the giddy sense, that's still a few days away...).
PS: I received an email from Twisted Oak that sounds like they are offering me a position as a volunteer...I need to follow up on that one!).
A "position" as a volunteer! And I suppose the only compensation is that you have to take a few cases of wine off their hands.
Thanks for your comments, I admit that I search the boards looking for your clever observations. Giddy - my definition: "when you get that high pitch voice you can't control and if you do manage to rein it in you wet your pants instead." See what you have to look forward to?
Giddy-uncontrolled silliness, and excitement; just like a school girl in the spring!
I can feel my shorts beginning to tighten, not unlike my vocal cords which will produce a shrill pitch here soon, as I am 19 more wake ups 'til I'm smuggling, uh, I mean declaring, my wine to ship personnel.
7 years as a volunteer at one winery; I have "offers" from two more nearby. I wish Twisted Oak was a little closer (72 miles away). I really like their irreverence! No 1099, no W-2, just wine, thank you very much! Gad...I'm really lucky.

Well, if that's the case, I can't say I disagree. And isn't there such a thing as going mad from spending too many days ashore? Or was it too many days at sea? Or was it too many days in space? Too many hours on this board? Whatever it was, it looks like goin' cruisin' needs a little of the opposite.
