I found prices to be the same as an upscale restaurant.
I paid 6.50 for a single malt whiskey on the rocks. The wife had martinis for about the same price. Corona was 5.95 for bottle but i think they were selling a bucket of for BUd's for 10
+ they always add the 15 % grat. onto your bill
Wine bottles started at 20 and went open end, but on Carnival they brought the bottle back to the table if you did not finish it the night before. Hope this helps
The same will hold true on Princess as far as the wine goes. They do have bucket-o-beers that you get 5 for the price of 4. Our bar bill for a 10 day cruise, including wine with dinner usually runs around $800 for the 2 of us. My hubby drinks beer during the day. I usually will have a frozen margarita after lunch. Then we have cocktails before dinner. I have wine with dinner, he will either have a mixed drink or a couple of beers. Then I have a couple of drinks in the casino (usually a double baileys on the rocks), and he'll have a couple of beers. It works out to about $40/day per person, which isn't all that bad. Have a wonderful cruise!
Thank you for the booze info .Now what I meant by the dining was on the anytime dining if I wanted to go one night at a particular time will they take reservations?
Oh, and also is liquor the same price everywhere on the boat?
Yes, booze is the same price no matter where you order it on the ship.
WOW, Penny 3333, $40/day for hooch! I am impressed! But then again, if my wife and I have a $40 or $50 bottle of wine at dinner, and pay the $10-$15 corkage fee, we're right there with you. Interesting point....you made me think! Hats off to you!
When I called for reservations, I was told they didn't take them for any later than 6:15pm. This is mainly because they can't guarantee how long a table will remain seated. I would imagine, however, if you were very kind to the head waiter or maitre d', they would hold a table for you. It also may be that we only had 2 of us, maybe if you have a larger party it's easier. However, we've never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. Hope this helps!
