No, there is no discrimination. I removed the entire thread since it had gotten needlessly out of control and contentious. Things like that serve no good purpose and only get worse, so I thought it best to remove it from public view.
We prefer that this forum be neutral on issues such as politics, religion, sexual orientation, and other things along those lines. The subject is cruising and cruise ships here, and the collateral topics associated with cruising and cruise ships.
Frankly I was disappointed with some of the notes posted. You asked a simple question about a valid thing that does happen on cruises, and you got jumped.
I am glad you posted this note, as it gives me the opportunity to remind ALL members that the forum staff has a duty to ensure ALL members can come here and post notes that comply with our rules and guidelines. If someone happens to not like the message, or the orientation of the messenger, I strongly urge them to simply not respond and to move on to another message thread. If you can't add to the message thread in a positive manner, then please don't diminish it to the point I have to delete it.
