Hi this is aimed at all the people flying out from the uk we did and this year we upgraded our flights with Thomson at a cost of 300 per person and it was a complete waste of money the cruise with princess out of this world will go wth them again but will not spend the money on an upgraded flight again we have put in a letter of complaint against Thomson and princess are currently looking into it for us,so my advice save the money and have extra spends o your cruise if you want any more details happy to oblige Julie

I think you need to be more specific on why you felt this was a waste of your money.

Yes, please give more details. I don't understand why Princess would have any interest in your flight dispute with Thomson.

hi thanks for the interest in my post in answer to IslandCruz the reason why princess are interested in our dispute with Thomson is because we booked it has a package through Princess. There are several reasons we did not think it was worth the money to start with the flight was delayed by 2 hours we then found out has a way of saying sorry everyone who had not upgraded were giving free drinks during the flight we got nothing, yes we got the extra leg room but we could have got that for just 25 each the meals we were told you got more choice no we did not, we were told you got more films to choose from and games to play on yes we got that but found out could have paid just 5 each anyway to get this and this was just the start so do you get why we are disappointed with what we got for our money and the list just goes on many others on our flight were just has annoyed and were also planning on complaing in no way do we hold princess responsible has the parts that involved princess were fine it was all related to Thomson so if you have any advice will gladly take it many thanks Julie

Hi this is just an update on my previous post today through the mail we got a lovely letter of apology from princess over our flight and they have given us 300 off our next princess cruise and said they are looking at their flights so it does pay to let them know of your problems and it is worth complaining very impressed with their response it shows they do listen to their passengers. well done princess
