For those of us who live in "fly-over" country, and particularly in MN, WI, ND, SD and Iowa: There is a travel company in Minnepolis called Hobbit Travel. Most of their cruise prices include airfare from MSP. We used them for our last cruise and we felt that they do a pretty good job.

Check out their specials: http://www.hobbittravel.com/cruises/caribbean.htm

Ken, thanks for sharing. We live down by Rochester so will definitely be keeping this in mind. It sure saves some money rather than booking flight and cruise separate.

Hi Greyson,

They really did a great job for us. We flew on Sun Country which I had earlier dubbed, "Sardine Air" but they made more room in the seats and also provide a hot sandwich, whether its morning or afternoon.

Hobbit also provides transfer to the pier from the airport but they contract that out and they have a lot to improve in that area. In the future I would just get a taxi and skip following a group of worried looking people being herded into busses that stop at every terminal.

Dismal performance by the Vikes yesterday. The Bears looked horrible and the Vikings handed them the game.

Stay warm!
Ken

We have flown Sun Country as well and I was very impressed with the seats, service, and food. It is a good airline. I will definitely be checking with them in the future. You are so right, the Vikes this year may as well have taken vacation somewhere and not bothered to play. Very disappointing.
