Best Cruise Lines when travelling with tweens

Hi Everyone:
Can you give me some advice on the best cruise lines when travelling with "tweens". We did the Disney Cruise last year but the kids weren't all that thrilled. Thanks for your help.

I'd say Carnival or RCCL. However, almost all of the major lines have great kids programs.

I haven't been on many different cruise lines. I've been on 33 Royal Cribbean cruise and have seen a lot of teen activity. Carnival may be a a better choice from what I hear.

The tween years are tough, aren't they?

As others have said, most of the major lines have excellent programs for kids of all ages. One thing I'd look into is the age grouping(s) your kids would be in, as they are not consistent between lines. For instance, a 12-year-old might be one of the oldest kids in a tween grouping on one line, which might not appeal to some.

Craig and Lydia, our two daughters, (ages 13 and 17) love Carnival best. We've also cruised R.C. Carnival breaks down the age groups so it fits perfectly for their needs. My daughters have been on 5 cruises and they have the most fun on Carnival. Also, they offer Club02 now. We arrived home from Pride on Feb. 10th and my youngest daughter spent much of her time in Club02 with newfound friends. Hope this helps.

try the Freedom of the Seas this year. They will have good time there.
