Is it my imagination? Or did an advertising banner start appearing today at the top of the forum lists?

As a website owner I always wondered how they were paying for this. I don't mind the banner as I realize you have to generate revenue to pay the bills to keep the site up.

I also noticed a section on the main Forum List that is called OnLine Now listing everyone that is online.

You guys already know I am nuts by now, but this stuff wasn't here before was it?

We've always had advertisers - at least since I came here. And the online now has also been there.

IslandCruz,

as Dave already wrote, both the ads and the Online Now section have been here from the very beginning.

Thanks, just never noticed after more than a year here. I recently re-did my browser, maybe it was blocking the banner before?

Thanks Chuck for re-assuring me of my nuts status

Regarding your "nuts status" - having lived in Charlotte, NC for a few years - I just assumed that ANYONE living in Myrtle Beach had to be a little bit nuts to put up with the real crazies that invade you every year!

This is true. Most of the crazies have a tag on their car from one state up I don't know if you are aware, but after this weekend the Pavilion will be closed forever.

Chuck, I hope you are going to take some pictures of the ship on your cruise, I am interested in those yachts/ships.

Will do - I assume you mean on my 21 day Seabourn Spirit cruise next August. The cruise in December is on the Rotterdam.

Hey Fivepoints,

Yes it does sparkle

I still think the adware on my previous browser was blocking it. Or it was a pretty in-effective banner, because I never noticed it before. Did it sparkle before? It would be funny if that was the only thing it took for me to notice it
