Has anyone ever used Expedia to book air for their cruises? good/ bad experience.

Haven't book a cruise through them, but it is one of several on-line places we check for airfare when considering a cruise. The one time we actually booked through them there was no problem, everything was done by e-mail, including e-tickets.

We haven't booked a cruise, but have done airfare and hotels through them - excellent service, never a problem. Everything was just as they said it would be...

I used to work there in the customer service dept. I would think twice about booking anything through them. Just my 2 cents.

I've been using Kayak.com which someone here on the forum had recommended! I've found SO MANY great deals on it! It links you to ALL the websites, i.e., expedia, cheaptickets, orbitz, airline websites, etc. and tells you where to get the cheapest tic! GOOD LUCK!!!

I can't remember if I have ever done a cruise (I think yes) but I have found that this website is much more organized and responsive than the other major travel web agencies. I have done several things with them and have never had a problem. This is where I go first when researching rates and fares. It is a very user friendly site.

I have used expedia (DOT COMMMMMMM) for airline quotes and they are ok, but aren't they the ones who charge a service fee for ticketing? Why do that?
