Cruise Thoughts
I love to taste the salt breeze
Of the waves from off the sea,
And it is the gentle rocking
Of the ship that sets me free.
I love to see the ebon skies
And the million stars on high,
And I love the golden sunsets
And to see the seagulls fly.
I love to walk the teakwood decks
And look out upon the deep,
Where the sea goes on forever
And the flying fishes leap.
I love to dine in elegance
With a caring staff so fine,
And the service they provide us
Is like tasting vintage wine.
I love the entertainment
And the lounge chairs in the sun,
And the games the play upon the deck
Just enhance the long day's fun.
I love to visit foreign lands
With ports both old and new
Where scenes both quaint and beautiful
Await my questing view.
If I could choose one pleasure
In this world so large and wide,
I'd choose to cruise forever,
My companion by my side.
