Bottled Water...

Has anyone taken their own bottled water from home on the ship or is that not allowed? We're leaving in 2 days (thank goodness!) and I believe $4.50 for bottled water on the ship is ridiculous...

I just buy a few bottles in ports along the way...no one ever stopped us from bringing it onboard.

I know not everyone will agree, but I don't even bother with bottled water any more. I take a couple along just for the bottles then refill them from the tap. The tap water tastes better than any bottled I have bought and, since it is distilled continuously, is probably cleaner than the bottled. Like I said, not for everyone but I've done this for years with no problem.

I agree with f-mattox.. Bring a couple (you can bring as much water as you like but that is prohibitive if you are flying to your port.) You can also bring your own soda.

We typically bring our own (a couple of bottles) and you can refill from the tap or from the water dispensers in the buffets.
